Homophobia: Students speak out on being asexual


What is asexuality? Asexuality is a sexual orientation which describes individuals who do not experience sexual attraction. This does not mean they are unable to or cannot have sex, but the reasons they have for having sex are not to do with being attracted sexually to someone.

In light of a week dedicated to raising awareness around asexuality, I spoke to three students to find out what their experience of the University of York was while being asexual.
